EN: Thanks to the ongoing support of the Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media, King’s Inns is able to confer Scoláireacht an Phiarsaigh (The Pearse Scholarship) on one barrister in their first year of practice in the Law Library each year, which scholarship will cover the costs of the Advanced–Diploma in Legal Practice through Irish course.
Scoláireacht an Phiarsaigh is named for the King’s Inns’ alumnus, barrister, teacher and educationalist, writer, poet, scholar and President of the Provisional Government during the Easter Rising 1916, PH Pearse, who fought two Irish language rights cases in the old High Court under British rule as a barrister.
