Qualified Solicitors or Barristers

This is an exciting opportunity to build a legal career in Revenue working on a diverse and challenging portfolio of legal files to help deliver on Revenue’s Strategic Objectives. The Revenue Solicitor’s Division manages a varied caseload including tax appeal cases to the value of over €1bn, summary and indictable criminal prosecutions, and a diverse portfolio of litigation and advice cases.

You will be part of a legal team, with a proven track record in achieving successful outcomes for Revenue, across a range of legal disciplines to include the following areas:
• providing legal and strategic advice on a large body of complex tax cases applying domestic and international tax legislation and evolving tax policy
• advising on the conduct of civil and criminal investigations
• providing strategic litigation and legal advice, with responsibility for case management across a wide range of issues.

The Revenue Solicitor’s Division is a dynamic office with 59 members of staff. These roles will be based in Ship Street Gate, Dublin Castle, with an attractive pay scale ranging from €75,822 to €94,491.
