Meet the Teaching Team
#3 Dr. Joe McGrath
‘’I coordinate the Advanced Diploma in Corporate, White–Collar and Regulatory Crime at King’s Inns. I am an Irish Research Council Scholar, a Fulbright Scholar, and an Associate Professor of Law at the Sutherland School of Law UCD, where I teach white–collar crime, banking law, corporate governance, and financial regulation. I am the author and editor of several books in these fields. I completed my doctoral thesis on corporate and financial regulation at UCC in 2011. Prior to that, I graduated with a first–class honours Bachelor of Civil Law (BCL) from UCC in 2007.
Some advice I would give to someone planning to take the course is that during the course, you’re going to learn a lot from your lectures but also from each other. The more you engage with your lecturers and each other, the more you will get out of the course.’’
