King’s Inns students made it to the quarter–finals of the international rounds of the 2024 International Criminal Court Moot

King’s Inns students from the Barrister–at–Law degree course made it to the quarter–finals of the international rounds of the International Criminal Court Moot. Taking place in The Hague in the Netherlands, this Moot requires students to demonstrate superb problem–solving abilities and teamwork, as well as written and (most importantly) oral advocacy skills.

The competition is fierce, and we are proud of the team’s achievement in reaching the quarter–finals.

The team also took home an individual award: Síona Molony won the prestigious Benjamin Ferencz Award for Best Prosecution Speaker! This year, the team was comprised of Mackenzie Ellwood, Ciara O’Brien, Atalie Graham, Estelle Casadesús Switzer, and Síona Molony, students on the Barrister–at–Law degree course.

The team was coached by mooting coordinator Gary Moloney BL and assistant coordinator Morgane Conaty BL. Many thanks to the students who represented King’s Inns and to Gary and Morgane for their work in preparing the team!
