Ní mór d’iarrthóirí cúrsaoiriúnach sa dlí a bheith críochnaithe acu nó, i gcás iarrthóirí do thréimhsí oiliúna i Stiúrthóireacht na hAteangaireachta, ní mór Dioplóma Iarchéime san Ateangaireacht Chomhdhála a bheith bainte amach acu.

TRAINEESHIPS AT THE COURT OF JUSTICE OF THE EUROPEAN UNION
Every year, the Court of Justice of the European Union offers a limited number
of paid traineeships of five months’ duration in the chambers of Members of the
Court of Justice and the General Court and in the administrative departments of the
Court. These traineeships include opportunities for talented lawyers with excellent
language skills to work in the English language and Irish language legal translation
teams in the the Directorates for Legal Translation.
Who?
Applicants must hold a degree in law or in political sciences (majority content, law) or,
for traineeships in the Interpretation Directorate, a diploma in conference interpreting.
When?
There are two traineeship periods: From 1 March to 31 July (applications to be made between 1 July and 15 September of each year) From 16 September to 15 February (Members’ Chambers) and 1 October to 28 February (administrative departments), applications to be made between 1 February and 15 April of each year

The grant paid is €1,493.00 net per month.
A contribution of €150 towards travel costs will be paid to trainees whose place of
residence is 200 km or more from Luxembourg City.
