Paula Cassidy elected Auditor of the Law Students’ Debating Society of Ireland 2022–2023
On Monday, November 7, Barrister–at–Law student, Paula Cassidy, was elected Auditor (Session 193) of the Law Students’ Debating Society of Ireland (LSDSI).
On Paula’s election, King’s Inns CEO and Under Treasurer Mary Griffin said:
“I would like to extend my congratulations to Paula Cassidy on her election as Auditor of the Law Students’ Debating Society of Ireland. I look forward to working with Paula and her committee in the year ahead.
I would also like to extend my congratulations to Oisin Vince Coulter, Síofra Collins, Paulina Timmons and Rory Williams Doyle on their participation in the election campaign.”

Paula is now working on assembling a committee that will assist her in running a range of student activities throughout the academic and legal year, such as our annual Christmas Carol Service, the Student Ball, and the Meet the Masters event. They will also play a key part in making sure our student body is informed with any student events throughout the year.
Paula will deliver her Inaugural Address in 2023 to the student body, benchers, members, lecturers and invited guests.
About Paula Cassidy
Paula Cassidy is a modular 2 student on the degree of Barrister–at–Law course at King’s Inns and aims to focus on Corporate and Employment law post studies. Paula previously attained a Bachelor of Civil Law from Dublin City University in 2014.
As a former Access student, Paula is passionate about shining a light on the pathway to legal education for students from socio–economically disadvantaged backgrounds. She currently works in–house in the Corporate and Securities space managing corporate entity compliance in the EMEIA and APAC regions.

The Law Students’ Debating Society of Ireland (LSDSI) is a student–run body originally formed as a debating society in 1830. Over the years, it has evolved and now represents all facets of student life at King’s Inns.
