King’s Inns Law Review – Authors’ Evening
The new Editorial Board of the King’s Inns Law Review (KILR) cordially invites you to the official launch of Volume IX. The launch will take place in the Benchers’ Room, King’s Inns Dining Hall, on Thursday 19 September 2019 at 7pm.
The evening will see the ninth edition of the King’s Inns Law Review formally launched by the new Editorial Board. The event will be open to anyone considering submitting to the Law Review or interested in joining the Editorial Board. In addition to a €500 prize for the best article submitted, a further €500 prize will be awarded to the best article on the theme of The Digital Economy and Workers’ Rights’ (prizes sponsored by Fórsa).

Eilis Barry, Chief Executive of the Free Legal Advice Centres and an expert in the areas of Equality and Employment Law, will speak at the Author’s Evening on emerging issues in employment law and the need for academic engagement with those issues.
Senator Michael McDowell SC, the former Attorney General and Minister for Justice will attend our Authors’ Evening to formally launch the new edition of the Law Review and speak on the topic of Legal Writing in Ireland.
