King’s Inns Law Review – Volume VIII
The King’s Inns Law Review (KILR) is an annual law journal published by the students of The Honorable Society of King’s Inns, dedicated to the publication of Irish, European and international legal scholarship. The core ethos of the Review is the promotion and fostering of legal scholarship, both in the King’s Inns and across Ireland.
The Review’s annual Authors’ night took place on 29 May 2018, with speakers including the Honourable Mr. Justice Peter Charleton, Paul Anthony McDermott SC, and Noeline Blackwell, CEO of the Rape Crisis Centre. On the night the eighth volume was formally opened for submissions.
The Editorial Board of the King’s Inns Law Review now invites submissions from undergraduate and postgraduate law students as well as practitioners and legal professionals for its eighth volume. The Review publishes a diverse range of articles on a variety of topical legal issues that critically analyse existing and nascent areas of law, offer insight on contentious points and aim to substantively contribute to legal scholarship by offering fresh ideas and perspectives.
Deadline for submissions is Monday 15 October 2018.
Submissions of articles, case–notes and commentaries on areas of law with reference to Irish and/or European or International Law will be considered for publication and should be sent to kilrsubmissions@kingsinns.ie. Prizes will be awarded to submissions of particular legal significance. Guidelines on submissions are available on the Review’s website at kingsinnslawreview.com.
The King’s Inns Law Review is grateful for the generous and kind support of its friends and benefactors, without whom the Review would not be possible. The Editorial Board welcomes donations and contributions to fund the longevity of the Review, and all sponsorship queries should be addressed to kilr@kingsinns.ie.
