Would You Like To Experience What It’s Like To Study Law At King’s Inns?
THIS EVENT IS NOW FULL. You may be interested in attending one of other open days for the Diploma in Legal Studies course on Saturday 7 March or Tuesday 10 March. Please click here for more information.
This year, for the first time, King’s Inns is giving prospective students on the Diploma in Legal Studies the unique opportunity to experience life as a student on the course before applying. We will be offering prospective students an exclusive chance to attend classes similar to those taken by current students. These classes will be delivered by current staff members who are all qualified barristers with several years of teaching experience. Participants will be introduced to the student–orientated and interactive way in which the course is delivered. This is an excellent opportunity to decide if the Diploma in Legal Studies is the right course for you.
The Diploma in Legal Studies is a two–year course involving the study of law. Primarily aimed at people who would like to qualify as barristers but who do not yet hold a Law qualification, the course also attracts students with a general interest in the Law. Many graduates of the Diploma course find it to be of benefit in their existing career.
The interactive seminars are suitable for anyone who holds or is currently studying for a third level degree in a subject other than law; mature applicants aged 23 years and over who do not have a degree are also very welcome. Unfortunately, this event is not open to persons of school age.
This interactive seminars event will take place on Saturday 21 February from 12.00 noon until 3.00pm at the historic King’s Inns buildings on Constitution Hill, Dublin 7. There has already been significant interest in this event and most places are already booked. Anyone interested in attending should register asap via email to diplomainlegalstudies@kingsinns.ie.
