Due to the government advice on Storm Barra, King’s Inns campus (including the Library) will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday 7 December. Therefore, students and staff should stay away from campus.

Update – degree of Barrister–at–Law course delivery 2021–2022
King’s Inns Entrance Examination 2021 for admission to the course leading to the degree of Barrister–at–Law will take place online this August. The format of the Entrance Examination 2021 is as published on King’s Inns website in March 2021.
OUTLaw Network is looking for candidates to join their Student Sub–Committee
The Student Committee is a new subgroup formed under OUTLaw Network. OUTLaw are recruiting students across Ireland to join the sub–committee and work alongside OUTLaw to plan and organise a host of events throughout the year.
OUTLaw is excited to host their first Fireside Chat for students and trainee solicitors on a variety of themes and ideas connected to being LGBT+ in the workplace.
New Book: An Ghaeilge sa Dlí by Dáithí Mac Cárthaigh BL
Dáithí Mac Cárthaigh, a practising barrister and the Law & Irish Language Coordinator here at King’s Inns, recently published a book titled ‘An Ghaeilge sa Dlí’. It is aimed at anyone interested in the role of the Irish language in the Irish legal system in Europe and internationally.
Despite the Covid–19 constraints, mooting at the King’s Inns went from strength to strength in 2019–20 and remains a highlight of the extracurricular calendar.

The Denham Fellowship, named after The Hon. Mrs Justice Susan Denham, former Chief Justice, aims to promote diversity in the legal profession. The application process for 2021 is now open for six weeks closing at 5 pm on Monday, 16 November 2020.
