After a great election campaign between the Diploma and Degree students of King’s Inns for the 2023–2024 Auditor of the Law Students’ Debating Society of Ireland (LSDSI), they elected Barrister–at–Law Modular 2 student Norah O’Brien.

Norah O’Brien elected Auditor of the Law Students’ Debating Society of Ireland 2023–2024
On Monday, November 6, Norah O’Brien, student on the Barrister–at–Law Degree course (Modular), was the higher ranked of the two continuing candidates after the fourth count and was deemed by the Returning Officer to be elected as Auditor.
Nominations are invited for the Bar Benchers’ Panel (5 Vacancies) and for the Practising Barristers’ Panel (5 Vacancies) of the Council of the King’s Inns. Persons elected will serve for two years from 1 January 2024.

The highlight of the National Gallery’s autumn programme, showcasing work of Sir John Lavery. King’s Inns members will be taken on a private tour of the exhibition by the expert guides at the Gallery on Saturday 11th November, accompanied by our Member Relations Officer Diane Sutton.
