On Thursday 16 December, Máirín de Burca unveiled a sculpture by internationally acclaimed Irish artist Jesse Jones, that was inspired by Máirín’s extraordinary life of activism in Ireland.

King’s Inns Entrance Examination 2021 for admission to the course leading to the degree of Barrister–at–Law will take place online this August. The format of the Entrance Examination 2021 is as published on King’s Inns website in March 2021.

This important competition occurs annually and is contested by a team from the King’s Inns and Bar students from the Institute of Professional Legal Studies at Queen’s University, Belfast.
The McCarthy Impromptu Debating Competition takes place on Monday, February 22, at 6.00 pm via Zoom. There will be two or three student debaters speaking (briefly) on a motion that will have been given to them earlier that day. Contributions to the debate are generally light–hearted and humorous.
