Webinar: Managing Remote Hearings in Quasi–Judicial Bodies
On Friday 18 June, from 2 pm to 6 pm (Irish time), King’s Inns is hosting a webinar on ‘Managing Remote Hearings in quasi–judicial bodies: maintaining fairness and the interests of justice‘.
This online conference would appeal to decision–makers and their secretariats whose default setting has become to hold hearings remotely, or who are migrating their hearings to remote platforms.
Topics

- This will be followed by a moderated panel discussion with inputs from various bodies, which have established their practice to remote hearing platforms.
- Delegates will be given the opportunity to tease out the issues in interactive break–out rooms, with particular emphasis on when it may be unfair or contrary to the interests of justice to proceed remotely and how to manage the hearing with minimal hiccups and to ensure effective participation best.
