King’s Inns Student Ball 2025 – Diploma and Degree students

The King’s Inns Student Ball, organised by the LSDSI, will take place in our magnificent Dining Hall on Saturday the 1st of February 2025. A night to remember for all Diploma in Legal Studies and Barrister–at–Law students. This year the ball will also be open to recent graduates (2024).

• Ticket price: €98 per person. It is possible to bring 2 paying guests. Tickets are limited to 3 per student in total.
• Ticket price includes: Prosecco reception, professional photographer, three course meal with wine, raffle, live band, 360 photobooth and a free bar.
• A quiet room will be available throughout the evening where guests can take a break from the sensory stimulation of the event.
• Doors open: 7pm. Meal commences at 7.30pm. See T&Cs regarding last entry.
• Dress code: Black Tie.

 Terms and conditions:

• This event is open to King’s Inns Diploma in Legal Studies, degree of Barrister–at–Law students, and recent graduates (2024).
• Doors open at 7pm. Last entry at 7.15pm. Arrivals after this time will be considered a no–show and forfeit full ticket price.
• If a student wishes to use the quiet room on the night could they please email our Accessibility Officer rdermody@student.kingsinns.ie.
• The maximum capacity of the Dining Hall is 150 people therefore tickets are sold on a first–come first–served basis. 
• The cut–off point for the purchase of tickets will be at 10am on Friday the 24th of January.
• 100 tickets must be purchased by Friday the 24th of January for the event to go ahead. If the minimum is not booked all tickets purchased will be reimbursed, excluding a booking fee of €10.

• Tickets for this event are non–refundable. Cancellations are not accepted in any format. No–shows on the night, you forfeit 100% of the Dining fee paid. This condition applies if you or your guests have to self–isolate due to Covid–19.
• In booking a seat, you agree to the above Booking Terms and Conditions and Non–Refundable Policy.
• In purchasing a ticket for this event the students name and the name of the plus–one will be used for the purpose of entering into the raffle on the night.
• This event runs from 7pm to 11.30pm. Note: The venue closes at 11.30pm.

About the LSDSI

The Law Students’ Debating Society of Ireland (LSDSI) is a student–run body originally formed as a debating society in 1830. Over the years, it has evolved and now represents all facets of student life at King’s Inns. The LSDSI benefits from considerable support and direction from King’s Inns.
